Anyone game to speak about S-E-X

We belong to the land of Kamasutra and yet why so many of us Indians as well citizens with strong Indian roots shy away from discussing on sex? It's a shame as to how the genius of painting M.F Hussain was shooed away in his own land and was forced to die in exile. Let's face it the ancient Indian approach to sex was more liberal in both approach and outlook.
We live in a repressed world and society is doing everything to repress our sexuality. Mind you, it's the handiwork of religious extremists who choose to live their sex life in private. But, when it comes to commoners, they raise a hue-and-cry brandishing religion, morality and scriptures-whichever religion they belong to. At the end of the day, sacred book emerges as the winner at the altar of the basic needs of human beings. This is one of the reason why there are so many rapes albeit violence happening in society. Unfortunately, many parents shy away from explaining to children the A-Z of sex. By explaining the basic of sex it is important to explain to children the virtues of procreation but it is also important that the children be taught on the need to respect woman and a dignified man must always respect the wishes of a woman.
When something goes wrong in society we should always ask the how and why? On the onset, it's the way society educate us as to how to behave and respond in society. Assume a six year old ask someone a question on a picture of a naked body he or she encountered, if we chose to respond in, avoid it. It's only for pervert, we are labelling a child as a pervert and he will gave more or less the same response. It is a case of self-fulfilling prophesy.
Vatsyayana must be an excited man and he wrote the sex manual to make our lives relatively easy and smooth. Okie, we choose to guard our private lives, our religious practices but at least, we can speak about sex. We are not committing any form of blasphemy or bigotry by speaking about sex. Chill, guys and gals, it's a three letter word S-E-X. The simple words are not implicit and we are not revealing too much. We are not the next Emraan or Malika neither we are flaunting our prized assets. There is nothing wrong in discussing about sex. Nothing abnormal or weird in that. Okie, when was the last time you had sex, 2 weeks back, one hour ago or last night. That's it. You don't need to give an explanation as to what you did or undone..we are not getting there, to say the least.
Even Hindi films have started to depict love-making scenes and we are actually faraway from the time when two rose flowers were depicted movie. Kissing and sex are the most natural thing for a normal human being. India as a country has a huge collection of sex, stamps, postcards, pottery, images and different love-making skills and I think the best way to prove a change in mindset is to have a sex museum. Why not? I may think that I am going too far. No! seriously. The museum may run the risk of being forced in exile and those 200 bucks paid thugs will get an orgasm in destroying it while our TV channels will be only to glad to cover. Post that. everything shall be so peaceful as those thugs will indulge in desi daaru and force their wives to have sex. Those poor women subjected to sexual violence will oblige to the rape advances of dear hubby. Pati parmeshwar.
Sex is a metaphor or is it so? No, we choose not to speak about sex, our text books will not teach kids the basics of sex while those so called defenders of moral rights will slip in at night on the sex market or silently watch porn in their room much to the chagrin of their partners. The partners who have desire which is not being fulfilled. Did someone ever asked why so many have extra-marital affairs. The answer is soo simple. I'm not in any case justifying extra-marital affairs and I will never do so. It's just a simple debate which seeks clarity on the subject-matter.
In the same way we tend to lash at homosexuals and ban alcohol in society. Just imagine a minister waking up on the wrong foot and decide to ban condoms. Just kidding. It can happen coz everything is possible in our small, tiny and beautiful world. It looks like those gentlemen can decide what is good and bad for us. Lumpen elements will only be too happy to enforce the ban through violence as it happens on V-day.
Let's stop be so puritanical about the three letter words. India has a rich sexual and erotic heritage which came into being much before anyone in the west. It is inherent in our culture and let's not shy away from it. Refusing to deal will sex will trigger many problem since our society and frustration of any form in the expression of desire is the worst that can happen to mankind. Let's create the avenue of desire and passion. We should and must not repress our sexuality as it is part of our individuality.

Why do couples fight?

The big Q: After the honeymoon, the honey sword. It's pretty obvious that after you are set in a relationship, difference of opinion are bound to crop up coz we are different individuals with different thinking process. It leads to an ugly turn when the ego overrides the self and the love.
Be it regular boyfriend and girl friend, married couples and live-in partners, we do fight and many times it takes an ugly turn and goes from healthy discussion to bitter fight. The main reason is: the moolah or what we call the M-factor-paisa bole toh money... Show me the money, honey!!
Dating tip you pay on the first day and as the relationship progresses, you splurge all your money on her buying her goodies, jewellery and branded stuffs. Then, at some point you go dutch and she pays your coffee at Starbucks. You lose your job and she pays for your expenses. Then, your ego can't digest the fact that your lady love is paying for you. The first crack in the relationship is felt and it turns ugly.
On one hand there are your friends who always complain that since you guys are together you are not giving them time. Point blank: You are confused. After all, these guys and gals were there for you and how you balance, dear girlfriend and your mates. If you are a live-in couple or married dude, you invite them to your duplex for drinks and it becomes a weekly session. She feels neglected and tells you that they are entering her space. Before it turns ugly, strike a balance. Make them understand that your pals have always been there for you and at the same time you care for her. Always surprise her with flowers and plan a surprise holiday. Involve her with your mates. This always works. Better still, invite your pals at a time where you are not invading each other's space. Most importantly, encourage her to bring her friends home. In that way she won't feel left out.
I have observed that many couples have the tendency to bring parents within the relationship. It's between you and her or him. At some point, one partner will say I don't like your parents and the other will always retort. Naturally, he or she will took offense for the other not liking the parents. It's only natural to have a like or dislike for someone. We are all human beings. But as long as we love each other why bring parents in the relationship. At the same time, it's his or her parents and you cannot stop them from loving the ones who gave birth and education to them. The best thing is be ready to accomodate the parents if they are coming down. Just try to be nice and who knows you guys might click!! Trust me it will make a difference to him or her and the love bond will grow stronger. As it is you are not going to stay with the parents forever. Give him or her space to be with the parents and don't interfere if you can't be nice.
After a certain number of years of being together, both of you are bound to take things lying down. I mean a relationship can get bored at some point or the other. Both of you are professionals and spend time with your colleagues and a certain amount of attraction to some other person might crop up. This happens when couples take each other for granted. The fun is missing and you no longer go on long drive. Even the sex becomes mechanical. You are become so used to each other that even a small gesture of saying I love you or surprising her with flowers is ignored. In the process, the feeling of the other person is hurt and this is how couples break apart.
The most important thing in a relationship is the C-word. C-for communication is ignored and gives way by C-for conflict. Many couples who indulges into dirty fight often do not communicate with each other after a fight. They behave like complete strangers in the weirdest possible manner. It's a simple trick: Shed your ego and all you need to is talk and talk as if nothing happened. Na gila na Shikwa:)

BESHARMI MORCHA

We are living in a time where our sexual desires are repressed. Let’s face: We are sexually frustrated and our free flow of thinking process has become judgmental as a result of moral and religious influence. We have become hypocrites as we lead a life based on mistrust, prejudice and of course our male egos and superegos. Freud would die of a heart attack had he been alive.
It’s a sham. I am a man and I’m the first to admit how we snigger at a woman wearing short skirt, bare back and showing her cleavage. Yet, we voice against it in front of everyone showing how morally right we are. But, that doesn’t stop us from passing snide and leering remarks in private. We literally rape the women in our minds as we enjoy a libido.
A woman has the right to wear any form of clothes she chose to wear before venturing outside. As a civilized and democracy we must ensure that we protect and uphold the right to life and the dignity of a human being. Freewill is opposed to coercion where we are imposing a set of dress code and moral more to impede a person’s freedom.
None of the clothes wore by a woman should justify physical, emotional or psychological violence.
For starters I am referred to the slut walk that took place in Toronto when a cop asked women to avoid dressing like sluts to avoid physical violence. It’s our own Besharmi Morcha which took place on the streets of Delhi. The walk addresses several issues to the way a woman is dressed, her perception in the corporate board room. There are cases when a fully-clad woman have been subjected to sexual violence. The thoughts of the cop exist in many societies including India where a woman dressed in short skirt is viewed as an easy-lay. I find it revolting and disgusting as my own kin-read it aloud MEN indulges in such kind of behaviour and mindset.
The attitude must stop. I support the Besharmi Morcha and irrespective of its outcome, it has sparked a debate. Why just Delhi? Cities like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Nagpur, Punjab should come forward. Words like Slut Walk or Besharmi Morcha are just names and could have easily been termed the uprising of the fairer sex or revolution. It makes sense for such walks as cities like Delhi and Mumbai witnessed a surge of sexual violence against women. Remember on new year eve, a woman accompanied by a male companion was molested at the Gateway of India.
I am conscious that everyone supporting the cause will be subject to derision of the part of extremist political, social and feminist groups. We are not here to ply to their set of acceptable standards of behaviour. It is not just a walk but a cause for a better society. We belong to the young generation and in today’s times when a woman rules in the board of directors of Pepsico we cannot afford to be ruled by sexist attitudes or male sexual domination. It is a time to act as it is our lives. It belongs to us and not to some so-called predators. Who gave the right to put a judgment and the right to rape and kill?
Who gives me the right to call someone a ‘randi’? What is a randi? I am a male. I can be randi as well. I may well sell my soul for money like many CEOs or politicians do.
It’s sad how we men tend to look at women and we are only too happy not to remove our tinted glassed. It suits us and our interests. It boost our dominance and sexual ego. Perching on a high position, the tinted glasses gives me the right to force myself sexually on a women in exchange for promotion, both from a physical and psychological point of view? Who gives me the right to do so and brandish someone showing her breast that she is willing around with everyone?
