Monsoon Affair (16)

Monsoon Affair (16): Last and Final, a Monsoon Love Story

She slowly opened her eyes and furtively glanced across the room's corners. The blurred vision soon turns into reality, seeing smiling faces Niharika, Aniket and Varun. She became anxious, wondered that it would be a matter of time that she would be handcuffed for murder but relieved that her parents souls' will be liberated. She took her vengeance and would happily go to the gallows.
Aniket sensed that she was anxious and said, "Don't worry Huma. No one got wind of your target who was charred to death. It's not a hospital bed but the army camp. But, for the time being, the three of you, Varun and Niharika must go underground to ensure that your steps are not trailed. You are going to settle in a faraway place in Goa. The ticket arrangement has been made and a nice bungalow, jobs has been arranged to live comfortably. But, make sure that you tread in a discreet manner."
Niharika slowly stepped towards the bed, caressed Huma's hand and kissed her on the forehead, careful not to touch her bandaged forehead. Aniket and Niharika slowly slipped out of the room to give space to Varun and Huma. After all, it's a reunion of love and a new beginning is awaiting them in the Monsoon.
Varun sat on the bed, gently stroking and caressing Huma's hand. He asked, "How are you feeling?"
She smiled like a crazy girl, giggling like the days of innocence and a girl in love for the first time. "I feel that I am falling in love like crazy with you. I was always in love but denied your presence. You better don't ditch me or I will plot your death."
He perched his head down and smiled, "You are a dangerous lover. Forget about revenge now. I wanna make love to you. I can't believe that it's been a year we've met and the monsoon is yet to strike this year. Our Monsoon Affair."
Huma corrected him, "It's Monsoon Love not Affair. It was an affair, one night stand and it turned into love..."
"Eternal Monsoon Love....I wanna tell the tale of immortal love to our grand-children one day. Time to make love and honeymooning in Goa. I can't wait for sex for I know we are are deprived," he added.
Huma smiled seductively with a sheepish glance, averted his gaze.
The plan flew to Goa. Huma, Varun and Niharika sat on different seats and knew that they would be separated from Niharika who would be staying at a different place with different names to avoid raising suspicion.
Varun and Huma checked in the bungalow at South Goa, not far off from Palolem Beach. They lay on the bed in the dim-lit room, adorned by white curtains knotted together as thin air wafted through the closed window. Huma gave a seductive glance as she put her head on Varun's shoulders. She asked, "What happened? You were so excited a day earlier that I thought you already had an orgasm. Feeling shy? She pinched his nose.
Varun held Huma tightly in his arms, caressed her face and stroked her lip with his tongue, kissing passionately, wrapping the blanker around their naked bodies.
Three years later, the newly married couple reached Mumbai in the Jet Airways flight and they were stranded like during the old days. They made a new beginning with a new name and another identity to carve new dreams cum aspirations in Maximum City. It's the new beginning and new season of love, Monsoon Love Story. A new life is under way to open its eyes to their world.

The end.

2012 in a nutshell

14 days to go and 2012 will soon become the year that was..period! The year that started marvelously started to unfold itself in a flick of time as events, totally unforeseen unwrapped itself. It started, moved ahead and waned away like thin air. It's been a beautiful year, surprises sprouting minus a few hiccups. But, then where is the excitement without a few dollops of upset. It's been a warm, very successful and amazing year both on the personal and professional year.

1. January started on a fun-filled and rollicking manner. I woke up to my amazing holidays in SoGo (an euphemism I just coined for South Goa). I partied at a frenz frenz marriage in Miramar and danced to the joy of the newly married couple. It started with a bang and as I look back, perhaps the saying hold true when they say that when the first day start on a great note, the ending is truly fantastic. Holier than true.

2. March was the month when I obtained the much expected appraisal which shot up by three and a half grand. Patience is a virtue. Well said. As mom says, success belong belong to those who try. A slow but sure indication of great things happening in life and reason enough to motivate the self to work even hard. This was cherry on cake. The best was yet to happen!

3. Love is an oxymoron. Well, the most ironic part about me is that I happen to fall head over heels with someone but only to realize it's not love. Yes, yes, I admit of not able to bring the relationship to the next level as lose interest. It's an entirely malfunction of both my head and heart. No! not that!! I am focused on some career plan that propel the love funda to take a back seat. The good part is that I nurture three crushes on three different women and post the crazy manifestation of the head, I'm back to normalcy. The most serious crush happened in the month of May, the first one happened in Goa in June and the other one seeped in much before May.

4. I just love the social media. I've been forever present all over the place blogging my way to happiness, make a special guest appearance on Twitter, Linkedin and forever in a full fledged role on Facebook. It paid high dividends. FB made me win..oops sorry renew bond with old frenz..i'm amazed as to how I become friends with school and college pals with whom I would exchange a mere hi, hey..whatever that means. I met a few friends with whom I was fell out of touch on FB and in November reunited with a dear friend Shikha after twelve years. Could you believe that? A school friend..we started chatting like old and lost buddies. There was Aishwarya who was my class mate at Fergusson College, Pune and I dropped a hi and we added each other on g chat. We hit off instantly and became such great friends. Who says that social media is devoid of a heart?

5. June & December. Professionally speaking, both months are intertwined as in June I spent two years in the media as a professional and justice had it that on December 14, it made two and half years. Started as subeditor and this year shifted as a reporter and since then, there has been no looking back. Did  tell you that I lined up great interviews this year..the list is long..Dr Karan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP and ICCR president, Uma Tuli of the Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust and Miss South Africa, Melinda Bam. The list is long. To cut a long story short, I lined up nine interviews in a month. That month was August. I was short of number ten since September 1 fall on a Saturday. Unlucky me! I ended up biting my own fingers.

6. 2012 is a year that I will cherish for a very long time. I made great frenzzz at work and during my trips in Mumbai and Delhi. Life can't be more beautiful and as they say, there are good people on earth. Like a couplet, I go and sing a song dedicated to frenz and networking.

7. October/ November. It was unexpected and I was taken by storm. I was chosen by the Indian Government to be part of journalists delegates to cover the Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional Cooperation known as IOR-ARC at Gurgaon. Well! That's the end of the surprise and that's what I referred to above as the icing on the cake. I had the bestest of time and biggest professional fulfilment. It's been an emotional route, amazing and fulfiling journey where I made such great friends in Gurgaon/Delhi and learned so much from colleagues in the media fraternity. I stayed at the amazing Trident in Gurgaon and attending the conference at Oberoi is, was and will remain awesome. It add zing to one's life as I got back my mojo! The kind of networking and visibility I experience cannot be told but felt inside. It' such a great feeling which words fail to express. It will remain with me perhaps forever and I haven't still recovered from it. I made great friends in Gurgaon and Delhi. What more can I ask from life?! Better than that spoil the gorgeous feeling. I am grateful to those who facilitated my trip, including my boss, Indian Government and MEA.

What's life without a few unsettling and unfulfilled tasks. Here, it goes:
8. I started my novel and a few scripts but like always, it's still hanging somewhere in the closet. The range of progress made is far far from satisfaction. But, the work continues.

9. I have been unable to save money, a huge credit card balance hovering on my head and the salary been quite late for past few months. Hopefully, it shall be a thing of the past like the great year that 2012 been. I am an optimist and looking forward to smashing end of 2012..hey dudes and babes, in fourteen days lotsa things gonna happen..there's my new cell phone and i-pad on the cards. Looking forward for an awesome 2013. Hope yours was great as well and 2013 will be even better.

Love as always,
Vishal

Goa (Part 1)

On top, decorations at the wedding; (Below) Me at Palolem beach on new year
Goa:  31st December/ 1st January, 2010
Reached Goa at around 10 on new year eve. Well, it's the last day of 2011 and the midnight clock seems to be tickling on the heat in Goa. On the way, the bus broke down several times and finally reaching Goa exudes a sense of relief. After undergoing a series of travails and untoward circumstances, the passengers alighted at Panjim station and we could breathe for reaching at least.
First time in Goa and that too on 31st December. Well, what does it hold as one arrives at the bus station at Panjim? It was damn humid and I was sweating like hell. It's quite a departure from the cold prevailing in Pune. One can see bikers waiting to ferry passengers to various parts of Goa. Time to find a hotel to stay in Goa. I am accosted by one of the touts who told me that today I won't seal a room for less than 4,000 bucks. No way, I am going shed out such a huge amount. It's new year. So what? Time to light a cigarette and think of possibilities in Goa.It reminds me that a dear friend of mine, Dass babu gave me a phone number for staying arrangement. I called Khan saab who owns the place. He told me that the room will cost 2000 bucks but since I'm a friend of captain Doshara, another wonderful guy which I gonna meet there, he'll charge me 500 bucks less. Bingo! He told me that to get there it will take me some 2 hours which it did.
I inquire as to how to reach Canacona, Palolem beach which is 70 km away from Panaji and to get there, one need to change two buses.First, one need to go to Margao bus station and I traveled for more than one hour. I dozed off in the bus since I traveled for 14 hours from Pune to Goa. Actually, it took me more than one hour to reach Margao. From there, you need to take a bus to Canacona. Mind you, boss. Traveling in the local bus is like getting caught in the war zone. It is a minibus which keep on taking passengers from every point and getting out of the bus is such a tough task. Finally, I reached Canacona in another 90 minutes, all tired. Now, the main task is to reach Palolem. The resort Ojas residency is situated near a masjid. I finally got a motorbike who ferries passengers from one point to another. He charged 30 bucks which is fair enough.
I met captain Doshera who was cooking food in the kitchen. Bang on! He instantly recognized me and we had some nice Indian food which he prepared. Before that, we had tea. I realized that I forgot to bring a pair of short for the journey and went for a walk near the beach and got one for 200 bucks. I slept for a while. After I woke up, I had some beer and was chatting with captain and Khan saab. The latter who is a native of Mumbai was telling us how he had grown, watching movie stars and they would come for shooting near his locality. Later, we went for a walk at Palolem beach during the night. It was dark and the short cut way that we took were full of impediments. As you go down the alley inhabited by trees, heavy stones you have to exercise caution or else you may injure yourself heavily. Finally we reached the spot, guided by the tiny light on the cellphone.
The atmosphere on the beach is lively with foreign tourists having a big party on the beach. One can see the shacks, restaurants populated by customers coupled with blazing music. New Year has truly arrived. The amazing fireworks is simply something to die for. Palolem is soo peaceful that you may just crash on the beach. On our way back, Captain visited one of his acquaintance, a doctor from Pune who owns a resort at Palolem beach. He invited us for a drink or two. We met an elderly Rajasthani couple. The guy is a businessman and the wife hails from Nagpur, our own Maharashtra. Must say, we had a stimulating conversation on the economic progress made by Sri Lanka, shares on the stock exchange, Indo-Pak conflict and corruption. Certainly. 31st December was worth.
Nah! I dint stay awake till midnight coz I was so fucking tired. I dozed off in the room happy not be sloshed. Yeah! For the first time in my life I wasn't drunked. I was on a different trip altogether. I didn't go to Goa for sex, getting sloshed or partying heavily. I wanted peace and hence my choice of staying at Palolem Period.
Woke up on 1st January 2012 in Goa and attended the phone messages and wished back pals and mates. I took a walk in the village surrounded the beach. I just love the simple life of locals in the southern part of Goa. I shot the small rural life on my modest camera and the huts are a sheer delight to one's eyes. Trust me on that. Went for a walk at around 9 a.m at Palolem beach and yet again, my modest camera was at work. It is a beautiful day and I wasn't gonna miss it for anything on earth. I realized that life is beautiful. Decide to experience the other part of the city and in the afternoon I set off to Panaji.
I boarded the jam-packed local bus towards Margao but unfortunately the bus broke down in the middle of the road. The passengers got down in the country side surrounded by coconut trees on both sides of the road. We could easily have gone for a picnic. Unfortunately, the second bus took a very long time to come. I was going with the flow and not once, I got pissed off. Surprisingly, there was no anger in me on the first day of the year despite waiting for two hours. Finally, the bus and managed to get a seat, not before waiting for fellow travelers to get down. Got a message from Miss M. whose best friend was getting married, Hey try n come for d wedding receptn if u ca..starts from ..Penha de franca hall, brittona....Its the wedding of the best friend which I soo wanted to attend since I've never attended a catholic wedding. I was wondering whether I'll reach the venue in time and that too in a new city where I'm one day old.
Finally, reached Madgaon rushed ticketing window to buy the bus ticket to Panjim where there was a huge queue. I was wondering here it goes for another hour travel to Panjim. Thankfully, reached Panjim station in some 40 minutes and boarded a bike who drove me to Miramar to check in a hotel. God was on my side. I checked in a single room at Belo Horozonte for 1000 bucks which is not bad since its 1st January. After ordering a cuppa chai, I took a shower and arranged for a car who will take me to the venue which is not very far. The car charged me 600 bucks which is quite expensive. But, I didn't care since I was living life in Goa. Zindagi Na Milega Dobara....Live life to the fullest.
As I travelled in the car, I saw the ferry stop, casinos which are sheer delight to travelers.Hmm! Lucky Goans! The city is well connected with state of art road infrastructural facilities. In one glance, Goa is a well-planned city coupled with beautiful churches, Forts and wonderful beaches. One must be in Goa every two years at least. It's a holiday completely worth. It's such a wonderful break.
I reached the wedding reception as a bib bulayi baraati..oops is it so???? I wasn't invited by the groom and came from the girl's side. I was welcomed by Miss M who was by the way looking very pretty in her dress and her stole,of course...lol. I was introduced to some uncle and aunties at the venue who are very nice people by the way.
The bride beautifully dressed in the traditional christian attire by the side of the groom in his black suit. As the guests stood to greet them, they performed a dance for the guests. This is one of the most beautiful part of the wedding which I guess is part of the christian wedding. The hall was nicely decorated with the wedding cake, balloons and the design laid on the wedding card was re-created on the roof of the hall. It's a beautiful heart and atop was two lil birdies pecking. Wow! How a nice card design was transformed into such a beautiful object.
The best was yet to come!!! There was band who performed at the wedding and the compere was amazing as the guests were treated to beautiful Goan music and dance. I feel ashamed of not knowing the basic dance movements. But, then there was a saviour in the name of Ryan who propelled me to dance and since there were no awkwardness and we gyrated to the dance numbers. Yeah, I danced to my favourite chartbuster of 2011, Chamak Challo..voila! Met some damn cool guys in the party,. And, the girls were very pretty as well. The food was amazing and for some reason or another, I went for veg..that too me..a complete Ghas Phoos (Non veggie obsessed). Yeah, I didn't take the slightest drop of alcohol. 2012, the year of change dunno!!
As the party drew to an end, called the hotel driver who for some reason or another, didn't want to come and pick me up. One of the dudes gave me a lift to the hotel. It was an amazing new year at Goa.Life is beautiful.

PS:
I took three days to put this post. Watch out for the second part in Goa

Happy New year 2012

Whoa! I'm here after more than one month. That too last year. Wish you all a very Happy New Year 2012. The year that was ended with a bang and 2012 kicked off very well. What one can ask better than that. I woke up in Goa and without suffering from hangover. Yes! Indeed! The reasonable me decided that New Year can be celebrated without gulping alcohol down the throat and that too in Goa. My holidays were awesome as I was in maximum city, Mumbai for 4 days or so and went to my home town Pune where I was based and stayed in Goa from December 31 to Jan 3. I made the most of the holidays. I fully deserve it after slogging for one and a half years. Now, I'm back to reality and the famous deadlines at work. Decided to relocate back to either Pune or Mumbai, though Pune will be the first choice. But, that will take one and a half years to two to happen. If I don't include this year, it means that one more year and I shall embrace life in Pune/Mumbai. That's where my life and quotient of happiness lies.
Suffered a minor set back on Saturday..dunno whether one should call it minor but it was a major overhaul. I parted with one tooth since it went into the decayed state. The other one in the upper part of the mouth was saved but the second one..well..it was not meant to be. The dentist which happens to be my cousin tried to remove it the normal way but it broke inside..He was like..I injected anesthesia to relieve the pain but can't help it now and you have to bear the pain. Pain! Man! It was terrible.I just closed my eyes as the dentist struggled to remove the parts of the decayed tooth. It was terrible and was thinking of first day in college, my professor, friends and the first lecture. I was like when the madness is ever gonna get over.
At one moment, the dentist held my head tightly and tried to remove the tooth while my mouth has become the war zone. Hell! It's my mouth. Finally, it got over after one hour. Poor dentist was seating heavily while I bore the pain for one hour.  Tooth surgery can be very traumatic and it was. Later, he told me that the tooth had to be extracted the hard way as the root of a tree be removed.
I spent the whole day replacing the cotton paid since the upper and lower part of teeth are touching each other and it damn irritating. I'm still in the healing process and I've been able to cut on smoke. Still, shouldn't smoke at all but working towards. Been on pills for days and here it is. The damage is done and no cribbing bout it.
Lesson learned: There are some sensitive areas where the toothbrush doesn't forcibly go and we need to visit the dentist every 6 months for clean-up. Better, bear some minor pain rather facing the trauma of a surgery. I learned my lesson.
Now,let's move on to better things as I look forward to a great year ahead. It started well and shall be a great one. Watch out the post on Goa.
Cheers
Have a great N awesome year 2012

2011, the year in review

Just how I was complaining how the year started slowly and whether it's gonna end in beauty and prose. Here, we are at the end of 2011. Indeed, it started at a slow patch and how much I vented on the blog. It's been a great year professionally, set backs there were but not much. 2011 was quite a departure from 2010 and I wonder how things changed positively for my own state of being. The setbacks gradually waned away towards the end of June and I am indeed finishing 2011 in beauty and stepping in the new golden era,2012 in beauty. Two days of work for 2011 and as from 20, holidays and Mumbai, Pune, Lavasa and Goa, here I come.
January hit on a slow note and quite badly as I had a conflict with one of my relative. He is a bloody loser and was acting so stupid perhaps because he has money and gave the impression of being quite arrogant on that matter. I choose to ignore him and could have replied to him. Neways! He's a cheapo. On the professional front, I was struggling and was counting till June so that I finish one year at work. I was planning to leave after that. However, things took a u-turn and drastically improved for me. Relations and bonds were not only strengthened but cemented after that gestation period. The relationship with my boss improved and all of a sudden I was on the upswing. Conflicts lessened. The icing on the cake: I embraced a new challenge and ventured into reported and towards the year end I turned into a film critic and a full-fledged reporter. It was a large improvement and suddenly, I was enjoying my job. From sub-editor to report, I must admit that I find the desk job quite boring. However, I found true fulfilment as a news reporter and must admit that credit goes to boss who not only pushed me but encouraged me in what she thinks I am good at. She tapped the potential in me. It's been a new challenge and learned so much in the media business. Finally, I am happy doing my job. It shot up my self-confidence and gave me the upper hand.
I must admit that prior to that I was actually counting days till June arrives. I am happy that I took the decision to stay on the job. It was a great decision. On the personal side, I remained and stayed single. Not a happy scene though coz I am looking and longing for a relationship. Hmm! Let's hope for a change as 2011 comes to an end and as we usher in 2012. I am hopeful coz 13 days remains and the table may turn in my favour. One brownie point: I struggled to reduce smoking and so far successfully failed to do so. Once I was able to reduce smoking but in general, it was such a disaster. Better luck next time!! Guess, I am not psychologically prepared.
Read lotsa stuffs and books like Twilight, 40 rules of Love, Time's Traveller's Wife, Grisham, Harry Potter as well as self-help books such as Stephen Covey's 7 rules of Highly Effective People made my joy. Wrote some short stories which was clearly not enough and need to stick myself to the plans of writing. I need to put some discipline in my life. This is what is lacking in life.
new kid on the block celebrated one year on November 20  and stay tune and a brand new post will be exclusive devoted to the post which has more than 100 posts, some comments and around 600 views. Not bad as the slow and steady wins the race.
Finally, I will be able to afford holidays and indeed my year end leave was approved. I will go back to my home town, Pune and my adopted hometown Mumbai and will visit Lavasa, Goa and perhaps Gujerat. In less than 72 hours I will be officially on holidays as I look set to board Emirates plane where I will stop at Dubai airport for three hours before landing in the city that never sleeps Mumbai on Wednesday. Simply Mumbai!!!! What better way to end the year and kick start 2012 in beauty and style. I took the decision to travel out of the blue and stick to it. There was nothing on earth that could have stopped me and thank the Great Almighty for that. A prayer that was never unheard and fulfilled.I am already making plans for 2014 world cup in Brazil and have every reason to save and manage my money. I will drop and shop towards the year end as 2012 will have very less scope for shopping. See! I gotta save my money for world cup 2014. I look forward for a great career in 2012 and where I shall cross the seas and oceans so that I am back home.
Have a great year end 2011 and a rocking start to 2012.
Will update on travel.

Hey!!!! How does one call this post? An update on my life..Argghhh! I hate doing that coz I'm so bad at it. I mean there are several of you who have the art of putting a detailed post on your life in the most funny and romantic way. I suck at this one. The post becomes so boring.

Time flies fast and as good as it gets..I've spent one year and four months working in the media. Well! Yeah! I'm still a baby in the cradle. Been working as sub-editor and fidgeted with something new-reporting. I'm enjoying it and been doing production job as well. I shall be relieve of the production job towards the year end, I'm told. Hopefully so! I've done it for one year and I'm more geared to reporting. Honestly speaking, I'm not good at sub-editing task and tried it for one year. I now realize it's not my true calling and haven't been totally competent at the desk job. Am I cornering myself? Nopes! Not really. Just being plain honest with you, guys. I am bad at the task. Period.
It brings me to the next hot topic in ma life. Holidays!!!Yes! Indeed! I am finally taking my 20 days holidays as from December 20 where I shall be in Pune, Mumbai, Goa and god help me Ahmedabad and Delhi. Damn excited! I have already started counting days on Mr calendar..Since I can't really afford the places due to my lack of savings acumen, I went to S.B.I for a loan and this guy narrated a whole story to me and took my time much before telling me that I am not eligible since they have a policy of giving a personal loan to government employees and Top 100 companies employees. Hello dude! You could have told me that before rather than wasting my time. The most interesting character is the guy who is responsible for the loan. He meets me and tries to be inquisitive on the reason for taking a personal loan before telling me how busy he is and referred me to someone else. Bloody incompetent and unprofessional ass!! Went to HSBC and the girl was a model of professionalism and eased the whole process for me. It shall be granted in less than 10 days and it is indeed an example of excellence in customer service. Only hitch is that I have to transfer my account for salary which is pretty cool with me.
Been reading quite a few interesting and varied stuffs. Yes, I'm being a multi-tasker at reading. Just finished John Grisham's Theodore Boone. Well, there is a sequel to this one and can't wait to grab the next one. I've started with confessions of a pilgrim, an interview format of Paulo Coelho by Juan Arias and on the verge of finishing R K Narayan Talkative Man. Oops! Forgot to mention 3 cups of Tea. My plate is pretty full as of now.
Back to my much needed break, albeit holidays. It was a break I badly wanted. I shall shop till I drop coz December is celebration time as new year, Christmas is looming around and it's always a healing process to shop. yeah, Diwali is also round the corner and it's one of moi favourite.
I shall leave you now. We will catch up morrow'. A brand new day and new post awaits.
Cheerio

11 dies in bomb blast in Delhi..Delhi court blast:11 blast, 74 injured.

Black Wednesday: 11 killed, 76 injured as terror returns to Delhi

A policeman carries a wounded blast victim at the RML Hospital in New Delhi following a bomb blast......
At least 11 people were killed and 76 injured, when a powerful bomb exploded at a crowded gate of Delhi High Court this morning. About 2 kg of explosives were used in the blast according to the Home Ministry. Meanwhile, the Centre and Delhi government have announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh and Rs 2 lakh respectively to the next of the kin of those killed in the blast.

Here's a look at one of the headline in answer to today's blast. Then comes the real natak..the usual bhashan of netas and TV will follow suit with their stupid debate..Can India win over terror?  For starters, I am tired with this crap of responding to such gimmicks on the web page of the likes of Mid Day and TOI or NDTV. I ain't gonna vote and tell. Today, I was sad for the blast victims and that's it. I chose not to give any importance to the blast. Better ignore it. It's pointless to sit and work on solutions. Nothing gonna change as a result of the lack of goodwill. The PM can talk, so can amul baby face, Rahul..Yet, nothing will be done. The best thing to do is to carry on with our respective lives. In the name of TRP, the media is giving too much importance to terrorists. This is what they want: Coverage and hit the hardest and what better partner: The Indian media is always up for grabs. As the above picture suggest: Take us along, baby and let shamelessly put the picture of an innocent life.
Now the reason I've put the picture taken from HT is to show the insensitivity on the part of the media. It's my way to show and let know how I condemn usage of such pictures to boost TRP.
Case closed: No more argument on the subject. Let's not attach importance to it and get on with our life

Moving on to better things or stuffs in life. I just finished reading Times Traveller's Wife. A book of absolute beauty which I rounded in less than 10 days. So far so great. I got another one, The Joy and Sorrows at Work. As a colleague pointed out the other day, at we only have sorrows, sorrows and sorrowly. Interesting point but highly debated though. After I round up with Joy and Sorrows at work, me shall put a brand new post inspired by the book and my life on the matter.
It happened last Sunday. I woke up aaram se at 10. Read some stuffs and there were plans to read some books, watch some DVD movies and what else, starting a short story or better still work on my script. I received a call from a senior editor at office. Apparently, there was a crunch of staff and if I can fill in. I was silent for a few seconds, weighed the pros and cons. Adhered to that though reached office one and  a half hour late. Then, one realizes that it's part of the job. Can it be termed as sorrow? I think yea but it's how we frame our state of mind. But, but I've been rewarded by getting 3 consecutive offs..How? On Saturday everyone is off, my sunday off fall on that day and the off was restored on Monday. So enough to laze around, read, write, blog and sleep. Well, that's definitely the happy part of being at work. One thing for sure: This was appreciated and it means a lot for an employee.
Finally I will be able to get two week or perhaps few days more towards December so that I can enjoy my holiday. I badly need a break. I conveyed my wish to boss and I just wanna write an aplication and what follows shall be the negotiation. I can't wait to picture myself on the beach in Goa and really looking forward to visit amchi Pumbaikar( I am one..my love is torn between both cities..well..no clue..take a guess). Looking forward to meet old friends, make new ones and let loose.
Guess me gonna catch a movie on DvD in some time. Tomorrow I shall wake up early and attend duty..Time to make some contacts as I am venturing into reporting job. I believe that someone can be a reporter with responsibilty and don't bring news at the cost of human lives or invent lives. We belong to the new generation and together we can and shall make a difference.

Slog, slog and slog, it's becoming a royal pain the ass.
I long for the great escape, gateway to heaven.
I need a break.
A holiday will do the trick.
An elixir for life greatest tragedy..work

Hey folks,
I am dying for holidays..do hafte chalega..Will I be able to sing this song...The dude vishal on Chutti?! Taking a leaf on the upcoming flick Mr Batti on Chutti..I feel like saying Battiya jalao mujhe Chutti Chahiye..The million dollar question is and shall remain: Will my desire for 20 days or at worst 15 days holidays be sanctioned. I'm planning for 2 weeks holidays in December. I'm dying to visit Goa, Dharamshala, Calcutta and quite a few places.
The minus point" I work in the media and can they afford to give me holidays..Oh!Holidays!Holidays! What a luxury! I have realised how one take its life for granted. I mean in the times of college, I lead a care free life thinking that it shall never end. Life motto and I hope is still on: Live Life King size. Dude and Babe, take a chill pill. As someone told me, you too much chilled. At that time, didn't thought of going to holding and exploring exotic destination. I always thought that this beautiful life shall never end. Anyways, no need to cry over split milk. I believe that someone must not express regrets over life.
There was a time when I wanted to quit my job. I'm happy I didn't coz it would be difficult to save the moolah for holidays. The bad saver and spend thrift that I am! My bank balance is zero zero and zero. Time to get insured so that I can afford a lil bit of loans to cover my extravaganza..read holidays, baby! I'm dying to travel. I badly need that. Trust me! I have reached a stage where I badly need a break from work and graveyard shift. This life sucks, I know. But, it also goes without saying that I have started to enjoy my work. I am getting fulfillment out of it. No prize for guessing: I ain't leaving my job as of now.Par mujhe chutti chahiye.
For starters I have already completed a year at work and the time I'll ask for chutti..add 6 months extra..do the months=18 months. Will the boss give my most needed luxury or shrug me off?! That's the question, Baby. I can't pronounce myself on that. But, but I am dying and badly need holidays for a change. I can already picture myself lying on the beach in Goa, sipping beer and gorging on super hot chicks clad in bikini.
To that, I sign out. Remem..it's Monday and blues has just started.A good reason to claim for holidays.
Have a great and awesome day
