Lush and mush words in June

Flaky lip,
the taste of liquor and brandy,
swirling on the tongue's edge like a hot, passionate kiss
gulping to perfection,
sending rush of warmth roiling inside the stomach
the drizzling new season
winter has arrived
freezing sensation,
watching the sunshine trot gently
fresh brewed coffee
in the comfort of the coffee shop,
observing the surrounding and occupants swerving.
concocting a story
pure addiction
beautiful women
lone grandpa walking slowly but enjoying life in all it forms
 leaves snuggle on trees,
gyrating to music
crowd lost in translation
longing for caress and a swing
It's June
lush and mush words
kissing to make poetry
Cheerz to a new season.

Friendship Day: Celebrating colors of joy

Image sourced from Google/Orkutmasti.com

Colors of joy.
Painting expression of love.
Longing for togetherness.
Addiction.
Emotional roller-coaster.
Leaning on shoulders,
to nurse and wipe tears.
Strength.
Mental stamina.
Crazy laugh.
Fight like enemies
Love like lost siblings.
Aliens in the making.
Vowing to change the world.
Midnight muse.
The last alcohol drop.
Our drugs,
till the last puff is over.
Pain seems like adventure trek.
Unbarred souls.
Everything is justified.
Done to the extreme.
Thrill at full speed.
Discovering the self.
A heart to love and lose.
High on life.
Overdose of longing for each other.
Squabbling ferocious.
Tight hug of a lifetime.
Million lights in our hearts.
Friends are our drugs and obsession.
Making memories zillion times,
in full zest and excitement.

Happy Friendship Day.

Mumbai 2005: I alighted at VT station and found my way  out of the station at 6 p.m. I chose to walk, a heavy bag on my shoulders, all the way to Colaba. Now, with less money in my pockets I need a cheap motel to stay. Finally, found a small room at a South Indian place and everything got settled in Rs 100 bucks per day. Not bad for a five days deal. Imagine Rs 500 rent in what is known as the most expensive place in Mumbai. Dude! Its Sobo( South Bombay)
Colaba is an enticing and beauty for the eyes during the night as one stroll through the cause, opposite Leopold Cafe. One can see throngs of gora foreigners, some Jmaicans guys trying to sell Hashish and other drugs, touts trying to entice passers by and the fake sellers of Dolce and Gabbana coaxing you into buying their products. They won't let you go and a price of decent shirt may easily fall from Rs 600 to Rs 80, provided you understand their trick and be a smart ass.
Go for a long walk and near Picadilly hotel, there is a guy selling Kurta and decent shirts ranging between Rs 120 to Rs 180. Typical street malls in Colaba and very comfortable, indeed. You are dressed for the day. The view of Colaba causeway easily comes straight from a film reel, at least this is what I think. It's totally awesome. On another day, I remember being pursued by one guy selling a map of India which I finally bought for Rs 100 bucks. I remember saying no and this chap followed me from Causeway to Gateway. Finally, I gave in! This is Mumbai for you. I was new in the city. Every time, I visit the maximum city, I end up staying for more days than actually planned for. It is such a crave and addiction.
The honking of our classic blue and yellow cabs, the red BEST buses, the awesome crowd, cafe Leopold, Sports Express bar, Cafe Mondegar, touts, sellers of all kind of stuffs-necklaces, earrings, bracelets, the beautiful and super hot women, the goras makes it a life long experience. A moment to cherish throughout our life.I am not born in Mumbai but it is a magnet. Over the years, I have grown to accept the city as my own, amchi mumbai--I made it my home and how I miss hoem now. It's been more than 2 years.
Till, Mumbai part 2 happens for me.

Till you are, I am

Till you were, I am.
The radiant smile exuded as you playfully seduce me with the hand stroke on your long fair.
It was love, what we throught of it.
We displayed an element of lust even without being physical with each other.
The way you smile after you wake up by my side.
When I bring you flowers, the sensual manner you would say, so sweet, so cute.
Till you were, we were together, locking in our passion for love.
Alas! We knew that it would end, sooner or later.
Coz every relationship reaches an expiry date.
Our were not meant to be understood by the watchers.
It was a different kind of love.
We taught each other so much.
Or,love taught so much.
The need to love selflessly, creating our own space and embrace life.
The Almighty brought us together so that we can elevate in our respective lives.
It is the lesson of love.
Lessons we shall taught new people we meet throughout the span of our lives.
Love is not permanent. Nor is sex and lust.
It is a condition of being.
We are flesh in human form and yet we aren't.
We think we are in love with each other since we are together.
The truth is that we long each other obsessively since we are in the habit of being with each other.
We becomes addiction to each other.
When the times comes, let's get rid of this addiction.
Some call it break up.
