Being yourself is quite a hectic price to pay in today's world with relationship issues, overcoming odds to break away from daily routine and an insanely competitive world to stay on top of the game. There is so much pressure to bear for the 20s and 30s something obsessed with success at all costs and not settling for anything less. Small changes in a lifestyle laden with mental and physical ailment can help us sail through to restore our balance and trust me, it's not a tale of swimming against the tide or facing an uphill task. Here you go:

1. Meditation. Give yourself the me time by sitting still in a dark corner in the room and practice yoga asanas every week that makes for small changes.
2. Break free from everyone and switch off this smartphone or gadgets that do more bad than good. Go and lose yourself on a road trip or be surrounded by nature and greenery.
3. Spend time with yourself. Speak to the self which is a therapeutic exercise, do the things that you always wanted to do for a long time, learn to play sarangi or saxophone and wander aimlessly.
4. Imagine to be in a dream destination and even if you are not mentally present, play around with the mind for it helps to flush out negativity.
5. Don't rush into things. Stride slowly into the office and plug your laptop at ease, take a deep breath, enjoy every drop of your morning coffee. For once, go easy on yourself.
6. Stargazing. Watch the sky at nightfall and admire the white cloud, count the stars, prance on your feet like a child while waving to the plane hovering above your head.
7. Write anything in the personal diary. It can be feeling, fleeting moment of lust, attraction, joy or the dreams that may appear insipid to the world.
8. Do the craziest things, hit the pub, get drunk and dance to the latest Honey Singh or trashy songs, like Ooh la la! and Sar Kai lo Khatiya.
9. Go and fall in love or ask the random girl walking down the street out, let the excitement and heartbeat unfold for there is no age to go bonkers.
10. Yell and sing in the middle of the street of a foreign city or country where nobody recognizes you.
