Chilled company at night fall

Breeze stroking the face,

a balm to the parched lip,

noises lost to the stormy weather,

chilled wind wielding might,

at nightfall,

aliens for company,

guests unfazed by nature’s beauty,

sentiment of nothingness,

blank thought,

lifeless and inert,

 swayed to the expensive wine,

percolated on silver glasses,

the loner stands alone forever,

grain of rain,

dark sky,

tiny speck of stars,

drilled company,

fluid mind,

ballooned thoughts,

void,

wandering aimlessly,

flitting between cities and the skies,

abhorring the human touch,

ghouls masquerading to offer solace,

made that way,

bred in the city of evil,

contradictions,

longing for this voice,

to roar like a wounded tiger.

Heavenly kiss,

tiny drop of rain,

smothering the lip,

memory drip,

reminiscent of the times boxed in a treasure,

sprinkle of love,

laughter,

thrills of wild days,

everything has an end,

youthful spring,

burden and joy of the past,

carried in the grey shade,

wrinkles,

beard,

witnessing the fleeting times,

like the ship mooring away from the bank,

it was the days of wilderness,

snorting on the drug of life,

time is but a breeze that flits,

 what shall remain one day,

ruins and ashes
